Applewood Retrievers is very proud of the quality of our Labrador and Golden Retrievers. We guarantee you a genetically sound and healthy pup. We suggest that you take your new puppy to your veterinarian within 5 days of the purchase data for an examination. If your veterinarian should determine that the puppy has a congenital condition or is not in good health, please ask your veterinarian to document the findings and test/lab results that describe the problem and return the puppy with the veterinary documents and puppy registration for a full refund of the purchase price. This guarantee is not longer in affect after the puppy has been in its new home for more than 10 days, as we have no control over its environment. We will not be responsible for any veterinary bills or shipping charges at any time.

Seller Guarantees to the "original" purchaser of the dog the following:
The dog will be free of all genetic disease of the hips and eyes and certifiable by the:

Orthopedic Foundation of Animals (OFA) Completed between 24-27 months of age |

Canine Eye Registry Foundation (CERF) Completed between 18-17 months of age |
|
This guarantee is valid for 27 months from the date of birth and may not physically injured complicating the certification process. |

The hip and eye guarantee calls for a replacement puppy of equal value. |
If the dog is not certified as indicated above, the following conditions must be met:

A copy of the Hip X-ray (s) sent tot the OFA and the OFA results must be provided to the seller. It is important to document on the OFA, "Please return the X-rays to the Veterinarian", this will prevent another set of X-rays being required or additional expenses.) *It is best not to complete the X-rays if the dog is in a heat cycle, wait until a month later |

If the original owner of the dog elects to keep the dog, and not sell the dog to another party, you will be entitled to another puppy of similar quality and price. If you should select another puppy that is of higher value you will pay the difference of what you originally paid and the new puppy only.
Applewood Retrievers as stated above must receive a written claim with all documents before the dog reaches 30 months of age. Any and all freight charges, including transportation fees, insurance and kennel crates are the responsibility of the owner/purchaser. There are no cash refunds. No other guarantees are authorized unless prior arrangements are made in writing and agreed upon by both the purchaser and Applewood Retrievers.
